Maintaining a quality benefits program for our members and their families is LAPRA’s priority. Our goal is to promote security, protection and choice while keeping our members strong and healthy.

With the PPO Dental Plan, you can visit any dentist and receive benefits.  Choosing a PPO network dentist is the most cost-effective use of your dental benefits. Plus, deductibles do not apply when you use in-network dentists.

LAPRA members who enroll in the Anthem PPO or the Anthem HMO automatically receive vision coverage through Vision Service Plan (VSP).  Kaiser members will automatically be enrolled in the Kaiser Vision Benefits.

In partnership with Sharecare, the LAPRA Wellness Program, is free to LAPRA members. It is designed to support you in developing healthy habits for a lifetime.

Active LAPRA members are automatically enrolled in these life insurance plans upon recruitment. LAPRA Basic Life Insurance Plan provides retired members who are LAPRA members with $8,000 of coverage at no cost to you.

The Los Angeles Police Relief Association offers Long Term Disability (LTD) coverage through UnitedHealthcare. LTD insurance provides income replacement if your experience a covered illness or injury.
